
Biography:
Raja Alam (1963-), (رجاء عالم) Saudi short-story writer, novelist, and playwright born in Mecca. She received a B.A. in English literature from King 'Abd al-'Aziz University in Jeddah in 1983 . She is a teacher at the Training Center for Kindergarten Teachers in J eddah.
She received an honorary prize from the Spanish Arab Institute in the Ibn Tufayl competition in 1985.
