Abir Ballan

Biography:

Abir Ballan (عبير بلان) was born in 1975 in Beirut, Lebanon. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (1997) and a Master’s in Public Health (1999) from the American University of Beirut.

She currently lives with her husband and three children in the UAE. Among her children, she found an environment rich with childhood issues that inspired her to write Arabic books for children. Her aim is to preserve the Arabic language and culture through her books. She writes Arabic books that allow children to identify with the characters and support them through their childhood struggles and learning experiences. She is dedicated to help them appreciate the joy of reading. She’s currently the author of 6 books.
